Les Landes, a cycling destination!
The more than 550 km of cycle paths make Les Landes a privileged destination for cyclists. These trails extend along the Atlantic coast or inland and allow you to discover the landscapes and richness of the department at your own pace. In addition to the cycle paths, you can cover 1700 km of itineraries divided into 24 departmental tourist routes.
Bicycle paths between the ocean and forests…
If you want to enjoy an authentic family and outdoor experience, don’t hesitate to take a ride on France’s largest cycling circuit: La Vélodyssée. Its trails extend over 1250 km along the Atlantic coast, from Roscoff to Hendaye. 80% of the circuit is on tracks exclusively reserved for bicycles. The Velodyssée crosses the Landes between Biscarrosse and Tarnos in an exceptional natural setting. Between forest and beach you can enjoy fresh air for a family wellness sport that will delight young and old alike.
